The annual Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) Conference, now in its thirteenth year, is taking place on 23 October 2024 in Dublin and we’re proud that TTM will once more be attending this premier event. Much has happened since last year’s conference, with many changes to our public health services and new challenges ahead. For us at TTM this is a valuable opportunity to participate in an event which highlights key shared learnings and experiences from the sector – and to connect with our current and potential clients face to face.

The HMI Conference 2024 is themed ‘Positively Leading Through Complex Change in Health and Social Care.’ This past year has been an important one in healthcare, with the establishment of the six new HSE Regional Health Areas (RHAs) and changes at a national level within the HSE. We’ve seen how health managers and their teams are embracing new technologies and systems and exploring alternative ways to deliver care and improve service delivery. The focus now is the importance of identifying priorities and developing effective continuous improvement strategies on which to build, on which the conference will shine a spotlight. As the HMI says:

”To enable ongoing reforms, strong leadership, continued engagement with stakeholders and openness to change are paramount. At the Conference we will hear about the changes which have occurred to date and plans for the further implementation of change.”

Active Learning and Knowledge Share

TTM will be represented at the Conference by Sales Manager, Dylan Broderick and Recruitment Operations Manager, Niamh Burke. They’re looking forward to hearing from an expert and impressive line-up of speakers who will be sharing lessons from the successful implementation of projects and research. Headed up by HMI President Breda Crehan Roche and with contributions from the public, private and community sectors of healthcare, the Conference will allow for dynamic discussion and debate - while also providing valuable developmental and networking opportunities for healthcare managers.

Meeting Challenges with Solutions

For us at TTM, the conference allows us to get up close and personal to the needs of those we serve.
