TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Staff Nurse on behalf of their South Tipperary based client.
This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends.
The role will be for a nurse with particular interest in dementia care working to support the clients social care managers running the day centre. They will provide best practice guidance and support, assess clients where necessary and be responsible for maintaining and updating care plans for service users.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Staff Nurse is primary responsibility is
To deliver efficient and effective support services to clients living with dementia and their families.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a Registered Nurse with An Bord Altranais with
Supervisory skills and knowledge of the voluntary sector, older people issues and dementia.
You will need strong management skills with a strong client focus and be able to work on your initiative as well as part of a team.
Requirements:
• Full NMBI registration
• Previous experience working in Dementia
• BSc in Nursing
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to work on own initiative
