Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Dental Nurse to join our team. The role primarily involves chairside assistance during dental procedures and performing light reception duties. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the orthodontist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Providing chairside support, including passing instruments and materials to the orthodontist
Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
Managing and organizing the dental surgery, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
Assisting with light reception duties, such as answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Providing excellent customer service to patients, addressing their queries and concerns
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is desired but not essential
Ideally, fully trained as an Orthodontic Nurse, but candidates with little dental experience will be considered
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Professional and friendly demeanor
Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping systems is a plus
