TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 in Hospice Care.
This is a full time permanent role. The post holder will assist in managing the nursing team and in co-ordinating the multidisciplinary care of patients admitted to IPU. The post holder will support the development of nursing staff by means of role- modelling best practice, supporting in-service training and promoting evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
(i) Be a Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
(ii) Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Palliative Care with a background of acute experience.
(iii) Have a minimum of 2 years' experience at Senior Staff Nurse/Acting CNM1/CNSp level or equivalent.
(iv) Possess a Post Graduate Diploma / Masters Degree in Health Sciences (Palliative Care) at not less than level 8 (QQI) this is an essential requirement.
(v) Have Managerial experience a necessary requirement for the position.
(vi) Knowledge of Quality Systems (e.g. HIQA, CHKS, ISO, JCI).
Evidence of continuing professional development is essential.
Possess well-developed interpersonal and effective organisational skills.
(ix) Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited to the ethos and environment of Hospice setting.
