From the Bronx, New York City, to getting involved in promoting Ennis as a destination and being TTM Healthcare’s first Million Euro biller - this is powerhouse Sandra McMahon.
Sandra has been with TTM for seven years and is part of the Support Services Division - placing an average of one hundred candidates a week in temporary roles. As part of the healthcare industry, Sandra is very aware of the importance of doing her job well: every decision she makes must be measured, right and made for the right reasons. Finding suitable, top-quality staff with the right availability is mission critical.
Sandra thrives on the fact that every day is a learning experience, no two days are the same, and each person is responsible for their own success. Her recipe for success includes keeping on top of timeframes, being honest and managing expectations.
“My department is dynamic, progressive and challenging. I came to TTM with little experience, and I have grown so strong professionally. One of the TTM Family Principles I love is ‘Know Yourself to Know Each Other’ - and something I do most days is make the time to reflect on where I am in work and personally. Knowing your strengths, weaknesses, triggers and personality type can help you understand other people better and the way they work.”
Outside of work, Sandra is a ‘summer girl’ and loves sun, music and festivals. She enjoys being involved in her community and recently worked as a Volunteer with Experience Ennis - an initiative to promote the many facets of the town, from cultural attractions to shopping and music. Sandra was involved with the Ennis Fashion and Wellness week – a celebration of style and well-being in the town which saw local retailers report a 30% increase in sales on the day. Sandra also got to model in the show - but doesn’t believe she’ll be giving up her day job any time soon!
