My TTM is
Fabulous. Goal-Achieving. Successful. Spirited.
At TTM we’re hugely fortunate to have many #TTMTribe members who’ve travelled the distance with us - like Andre. His is a great success story as in the ten years he has been with us, Andre has progressed from Recruitment Consultant and Senior Recruitment Consultant to Team Leader and Principal Consultant.
Running a team of four, Andre places Health Care Assistants, Support Workers and Social Care Workers on a temporary basis, securing roles for around fifty candidates each week.
Andre is a born and bred South African, moving to Ireland in 2001 and making it his home. Before joining TTM he worked in the hospitality and retail sectors - working as Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager for one of Ireland’s leading chains of toy stores as well as a top-ranking grocery chain. It was here that he cut his teeth on recruitment - taking charge of the seasonal recruitment of staff. He was part of the team that opened one of the largest supermarkets in Limerick, recruiting over two hundred staff members.
Wanting to spend more time with his young family, Andre made the move into full-time recruitment and to TTM and is passionate about his work.
“It’s a bit like running your own business really - and the more you put in, the greater your rewards.I’ve featured consistently in the high biller’s club over the years. I’m proud to describe myself as an expert recruiter who has built up so many valuable connections through the years, both with clients and candidates.”
Andre says developing new business is one of his key strengths: he brought into the business our largest locum client. He also stresses the importance of offering clients working, long-term solutions to their challenges - rather than temporary quick fixes. He is ‘Customer Obsessed’ and is a fan of our Family Principle ‘When on Top of Your Game, Change Your Game.’
Like most South Africans, Andre loves to ‘braai’ (BBQ) and is known for his ability to cook a Sunday roast for fifteen people, on an open fire, without breaking a sweat!
