When it comes to ‘Realising Potential’ - Alena is a #TTMTribe member who’s really living the dream. She’s come a long way in a short period of time - and she knows the sky’s the limit.
Elena started at TTM as 2020, and her career path has seen her move from Talent Acquisition Specialist to Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and now Associate Recruitment Consultant with our Social Care Temporary Division.
“I’m really motivated to succeed and TTM supports me totally. Clear progression routes have always been outlined for me, so I know what to aim for and how to get there. I am also completing a BA (Hons) Degree in Recruitment Practice - a QQ1 Level 8 qualification introduced by the Employment and Recruitment Federation (ERF) together with the National College of Ireland. I spend one day a week at college and receive a full salary, and TTM is paying for my studies. It’s an amazing opportunity!”
Having moved to Ennis as a young child, Elena also has a BA in psychology and moved into recruitment straight from college. She enjoys the variety of her work and loves the opportunity to get to talk to so many different people, every day. She describes her biggest strengths as “organisation and motivation”, as well as paying attention to the “little things” that can make a big difference:
“Something as simple as giving someone a call rather than sending an email. It’s about the personal touch.”
Alena enjoys the upbeat energy of TTM, and while she works hard, she says everyone always makes time for fun.
Alena loves sport and is proud of the All Ireland titles she has won for tennis. She loves getting out onto the court, taking walks with her dog, reading and swimming.
