A Close-Up Look at Our 10x Vision
At TTM we aim high. To support our healthcare system, we send thousands of healthcare professionals to work in flexible frontline, general support and permanent positions –and we’re growing all the time. But our vision doesn’t stop there: we are committed to H.A.V.E 10 times the Positive Impact.
10X Positive Impact means we always endeavour to seek out opportunities where we can make a real difference in the world. We want our business to achieve a greater common good and have positive impact environmentally, socially and within our communities – achieving sustainable and purposeful growth. With this as our goal, we launched our H.A.V.E Positive Impact Charter which includes four key commitments: HAPPY PLACES, ACCESSIBILITY For Everyone, VALUE in our Communities and ENVIRONMENTAL Urgency.
Here's a closer look at what this means for those who work for and with us, as team members, healthcare talent and clients:
Creating HAPPY PLACES
At TTM, we believe in empowering our people to reach their full potential and believe their growth and wellbeing should know no bounds. Work with us and right from the start we’ll invest in your development, training and career goals, and you’ll be surrounded by people who care.
This commitment is reflected in the ways we upskill and promote future leaders and retain talent. 72% of our senior leadership team has come from within the company, while we delivered 4.312 hours of training in 2023 to ensure our people achieve their best. ‘HAPPY’ also means enabling a healthy work/life balance by offering hybrid work policies and prioritising mental health through our Employee Assistance Programme. We recognise excellence and celebrate our valuable healthcare agency workers through our TTM Heroes, while all team members and candidates enjoy the savings and benefits of our Perks at Work platform.
Our energy and unique culture are why 47% of our people stay with us for more than 3+ years. In turn, our healthcare partners can depend on happy, highly motivated healthcare professionals who bring their best to the job.
Championing ACCESSIBILITY for Everyone
We’re 100% committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment. We’re proud that women make up 70% of our business and 40% of our leadership and we take a skills first approach to recruitment, based on merit and talent. In recognition of the importance of mental health and well-being, we trained 6 staff members as Mental Health First Aiders - providing a first line of support. We also highlight and celebrate LGBTQ+ causes with PRIDE events across the company. Through our support of the Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI) we help break down barriers and advocate for policy changes and support the marginalised in society through training, education and employment.
Of course, fostering diversity benefits our clients and partners too – allowing us to better understand the needs of the diverse communities we serve.
Creating VALUE in our Communities
Supporting our health system with the skills, talent and capacity to care for society’s sick and vulnerable is the first way in which we create value. We are committed to raising standards in healthcare and to tackle the skills gap. We also use our position as a major employer to bring people into work – enabling training and upskilling. Equally, we invest in local economies and support our suppliers in our community.
Contributing to social value is important to us too, and we fundraise and volunteer to support the work of local and national charities. (In the first 6 months of 2024 we donated €12,816 to community organisations and for Christmas 2023 we donated 81 shoe boxes to the Concern Shoe Box Appeal.) Importantly, we empower our team members to support causes of their choice by providing 6 Volunteer Days a year.
Acting with ENVIRONMENTAL URGENCY
There is no ‘plan B’ - we are committed to protecting our planet and building a more sustainable future for all. To cut our consumption of energy we switched to LED lighting, reducing our carbon footprint by 2,000kw each day. We have adopted a Keep Cup policy which saves 49.5kg of plastic and 552kg of CO2 annually and in the first 6 months of 2024 we reduced our waste to refuse by 5%. To conserve our natural spaces, our team members take part in beach clean-ups and community garden projects, while we have partnered with Home Tree to plant native species for a greener planet. We are also taking steps to install solar panels across our office estate.
When you work or partner with TTM – you can be sure you’re helping us deliver on our H.A.V.E commitments and joining us in our mission to do right by all.
